Help & answers
The questions we hear most, answered in plain language. Something missing? Contact us — a person reads every letter.
Tap Join Momora (top right) or Create account, pick a username, and add your email. It takes about a minute. Reading the feed and stories is open to everyone — an account unlocks posting, messaging, check-ins, events, and the Petal wallet.
Settings → Account & security. The Email card lets you change your address (we send a confirmation letter to both addresses), and Change password is right below it. If you're locked out, use Forgot password on the sign-in screen — a reset letter is issued instantly.
Every letter Momora sends (welcome, verification, password resets, cash-out updates) comes from hello@momora.care. If one hasn't arrived, check spam, then Settings → Account & security to confirm your address.
Momora+ ($11.99/mo, first 30 days free) unlocks recovery-story posting, longer feed threads, extra soundscapes, guided programs, and the partner space. You can start the trial from any Momora+ prompt and cancel anytime.
Petals are Momora's thank-you currency: 10¢ of face value each. Buy them in packs, gift them under posts, in messages, or live in events, and the mothers who earn them cash out at 7.5¢ (8.5¢ for live-earned Petals). The ledger is append-only — every Petal is accounted for.
Nobody. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted with keys that live on your devices — the platform stores ciphertext it cannot open. Your journal is private to you. What you post to the public feed is public by design, and anonymous posting is always available.
Settings → Care team lets you create a private link for a provider (therapist, OB, doula…). You choose exactly what it shows — screening trend, mood days, program practice — and it never contains your journal, messages, or posts. You can see how often it's opened and revoke it anytime.
Every post has a ⋯ menu with Report and Block. Blocking is a full wall — neither of you sees the other anywhere. Reports go to the founder's safety queue, and the automod system hides obvious scams immediately (with human review, never silent deletion).
No — Momora is peer support, not medical care. The EPDS check-in is a clinical screening tool, not a diagnosis. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or Postpartum Support International at 1-800-944-4773.
